Working Principle: Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA)

The system uses PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) technology with high-performance lithium-based zeolite molecular sieves to separate oxygen from compressed air.

  1. Air Intake & Purification: Ambient air is drawn in, compressed by the built-in screw air compressor, then passed through a series of filters and an air dryer to remove moisture, oil, and particulates.
  2. Adsorption (Oxygen generation): Clean compressed air enters the PSA towers. The zeolite molecular sieve selectively adsorbs nitrogen under pressure (typically 4–6 bar), allowing oxygen (93% ± 3%) to pass through as the product gas.
  3. Desorption (Regeneration): When the sieve reaches saturation, pressure is released. The adsorbed nitrogen is vented to the atmosphere, regenerating the molecular sieve for the next cycle. Two towers alternate between adsorption and desorption to provide a continuous oxygen supply.
  4. Oxygen Buffering & Boosting: Product oxygen is collected in a buffer tank for stable output, then compressed by an oxygen booster to high pressure (up to 150 bar) suitable for filling cylinders.
  5. Cylinder Filling: High-pressure oxygen is directed to the filling manifold where multiple cylinders can be filled simultaneously. The system automatically manages fill pressure and shut-off.
